Elder Welfare (rejuvenation): Stops paying Social Security, Medicare and, after six months,...

...government pensions to anyone who takes a rejuvenation drug or treatment that returns their physical health to that of a forty-year-old or younger.  They become eligible again when their physical health deteriorates to that of a sixty-five year-old or when someone is then eligible for Social Security, whichever is longer.  Businesses can also, under the same conditions, stop and re-start pensions for their retirees if the retirees also take such rejuvenation drugs/treatments.

Future Challenges:

1) First US House Representative or US Senator to successfully introduce and pass a bill in the US Congress and get it signed by the US President that offers $1 trillion dollars for the first rejuvenation drug or treatment that can return anyone of any age (including those 120 years of age) to their physical prime for under $20,000.  The drug/treatment recipient can start aging naturally again and the drug/treatment can be taken repeatedly.  The trillion dollars must be paid in cash, be tax-free, and be paid to anyone in the world, including non-US citizens.  [Even at a trillion dollars, this would save the US government money in the very first year.  A trillion dollar reward will also ignite the world’s largest innovation race in human history.]  However, to collect the trillion dollars, those possessing the patents to it must release them freely and without constraint into the public domain so market forces can drive the cost of the drug/treatment down as much as possible.

2) First major US political party (Democratic or Republican) to state in its party platform that aging is a disease and should be classified as such by the US Food & Drug Administration.

First senior citizen (65 years of age or older) radio talk show host to champion this challenge and:

3) Get a US House Representative or US Senator to write a bill for their respective chamber and get it up for at least a vote on the floor of that chamber.  Before the vote, the congressperson then appears on the host/ess' show to rally support for the bill and get listeners to call their congressperson to vote for it.

4) Get a US House Representative and a US Senator to write identical bills for their respective chamber and get it up for at least a vote on the floor of that chamber.  Before the vote, the congresspersons then appear on the host/ess' show to rally support for the bill and get listeners to call their congressperson to vote for it.

5) Get a US House Representative and a US Senator to write identical bills for their respective chamber and get it up for at least a vote on the floor of that chamber.  Before the vote, the congresspersons AND enough other congresspersons to pass the bill in both chambers then appear on the host/ess' show to rally support for the bill and get listeners to call their congressperson to vote for it.
